Always expect the unexpected...

Normalweise ist es mein Stil bei einem Portraitshooting natürliches Licht vor Ort zu nutzen, aber das kann sehr einschränkend enden wenn man ein Shooting gebucht hat und das Wetter sich negativ entwickelt. Genau das ist mir leider bei meiner letzten Portrait-Session passiert, bei der ich ein Shooting in einem Sonnenblumenfeld geplant hatte und es im Endeffekt anfing in Strömen zu regnen.

Anstatt es abzusagen, entschied ich mich für meine zweite Idee und verlagerte das Shooting in ein Parkhaus. Bei diesem Shooting hatte ich viel Spaß mit natürlichen Lichtquellen und meiner Softbox, da sie den Bildern eine tolle Dynamik gaben. Trotz des plötzlichen Ortswechsels sind tolle Bilder entstanden. Usually, my go to style for portrait photography is to use natural light sources when out on location but this can be limiting when you have a shoot booked and the weather decides to turn bad. This unfortunately happened to me for my latest portrait session where I had planned out a whole shoot in a sunflower field, but it poured it down at the last minute. Instead of cancelling, I switched to my second option I had in mind and changed the location to a car park and brought along my soft box. I had quite a lot of fun experimenting on this photoshoot with natural lighting and studio lighting because it gave a lot of dynamics. I feel the images turned out great despite the unexpected change. I’ll certainly be considering using my soft box for future photoshoots.
